- Albright has offered interdisciplinary programs since 1969, beginning with psychobiology. Albright College was the first liberal arts college in the United States to offer an undergraduate psychobiology concentration.
- Because of Albright's flexibility in designing majors, current Albright students have created more than 150 different combinations of majors.
- Nearly 50 percent of Albright students have a dual, triple or interdisciplinary major.
- Albright is one of the first liberal arts colleges in the nation to begin offering courses in wireless handheld devices. The College was awarded a $277,000 Link-to-Learn grant for an innovative program in handheld wireless technology.
- A $120,000 Title IV grant from the U.S. Department of Education was presented to Albright to support an innovative, interdisciplinary program in foreign language, study abroad and Latin American studies.
- The Albright Chemistry and Biochemistry Department received two state-of-the-art nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectometers worth $500,000 from the Bristol-Myers Squibb Company. Because of their price, it is almost unheard of for colleges to have two units dedicated to student use. NMR is the basis for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
- Each year approximately five percent of the graduating class applies to professional schools. Albright's acceptance rate is impressive: 90 percent to vet schools, and 80 percent to other professional programs.
- Eleven percent of the physicians at Reading Hospital are Albright graduates.
- Albright's women's swim team has been MAC Champions for four years running. This is the longest running winning streak of any athletic team in Albright's history. Coach Jenis Frederick has been named "MAC Coach of the Year" for the past two years.
- Applications for admission have increased more than 300 percent in the past five years. The Class of 2006, with 455 students, is the largest freshmen class in Albright's history.
- Albright College is listed in "100 Best Colleges for African-American Students."
- Albright College has been listed as one of Barron's Best Buys in College Education.
- Thanks to its emphasis on leadership and character building, Albright has been recognized by the Center for the Study of Values in College Student Development as a "College of Character."
