Received an Albright College Honorary Degree in 1997.
Following graduation from Albright and a successful career
in the oil business in New York and Texas, Nobi returned to
Japan in 1973. Since that time, he has emerged as one of Japan's
most prominent and provacative writers. In addition to his
novels and current affairs books, Nobi is a prolific contributor
to newspapers and magazines in Japan. A true man of the world,
he has interviewed Benjamin Netanyahu, Edward Shevardnadze,
Margaret Thatcher, and Julie Nixon Eisenhower, among others,
and counts Frederico Fellini and Sir Jeffrey Archer among
his friends.

written more than 80 books, he has focused on relations between
the U.S. and the then-USSR and the U.S. and Japan. His first
book, Two Leaders was published in 1977. Other books
by Nobi include The Oil War, The Truth in 2039 - The Men
Who Killed Kennedy, Mossad, Its Truth, A Spare Detachment
and America's Insanity and a Tragedy.
From an Albright standpoint, Nobi's most notable book is
America Yo, America Yo. In it, Nobi describes his
experiences at Albright College. |
