| From lingerie
and pajamas to men's wear and women's wear, Scott has made
a name for himself in the fashion industry. Reviews and articles
about his designs have appeared in publications such as Maxim
Magazine, The LA Times, Teen People magazine, Houston
Chronicle, The Vancouver Sun and Italy's Milano Finanzia
magazine, to name a few.
Early ventures for Scott included the co-founding of Betty
Wear Lingerie, a high end, domestically produced, designer
collection of sleepwear with a few bras to match, and French
Jenny Lingerie, a division of Richard Leeds International,
Inc. In both ventures, Scott partnered with fellow Albrightian
Jennifer (Buckley) O'Connell '87.
Today, Scott finds himself swamped with orders for both his
men's and women's collections. He produces clothes from a
modern, non-traditional line of professional wear for men
to a new women's collection that combines a stark, modern
architecture with both form and function. His designs can
be found in stores such as Modern Appealing Clothing (MAC)
in San Francisco, Calif.; Fred Segal in Santa Monica, Calif.;
Ciello in Philadelphia, Pa., Patricia Field in New York, N.Y.,
Salt Box in Japan and on the Internet at Guyshop and Sowear.com.
