Early Childhood and Elementary Education Certification Programs.

At Albright College, students do not earn a degree in education. Students complete a coconcentration in a liberal arts subject area and certification courses. Candidates may seek an elementary education certificate (K-6) or a combined early childhood/elementary education certificate (N-6). Candidates for early childhood and/or elementary education certificates have two degree options:

Option One - Completion of full concentration for degree with addition of courses required for certification:
Courses in concentration area........ 10-12 units
Courses in certification................... 15-16 units
General studies............................... 15-16 units
Total course units........................... 37-44 units

Option Two - Combined program for degree- co-concentration in education and degree co-concentration of the candidate's choice:
