Shop-Rite Knock Out Hunger T-Shirt Design
Contest
This past fall, Shop-Rite Partners in Caring held a
T-Shirt Design Contest to support their Knock Out Hunger Campaign. The
objective of the contest was to create a design that would evoke empathy for
hunger awareness. Four students from Albright College (Andre Jackson, Payal
Patel, Sarah Rowe, Alysha Miller) were selected in the top 15 finalists for the
contest. In February they were invited to the unveiling event at the Time
Warner Center in NYC during fashion week. The students had the pleasure of
meeting two celebrity judges, Jeannie Mai, host of Style Network’s “How Do I
Look?” and Korto Momolu, from BRAVO’s “Project Runway”.
