Albright College and Middle States Reaccreditation

College and universities that are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, as Albright College is, are required to reaffirm their accreditations every 8 years (previously 10). Albright’s accreditation was due for reaffirmation from the Commission in 2017. The College began work in 2015 on the self-study that examined how well the institution adheres to the Commission’s standards for accreditation. This website was created during the re-accreditation process to keep Albright’s stakeholders apprised of our progress.

We are happy to share that on June 22, 2017, the Commissioners of Middle States voted “to reaffirm accreditation and commend the institution for the quality of the self-study report.” The College will continue to work toward improvement goals outlined in its Self-Study. The next evaluation visit is scheduled for 2025-2026.
