How to Find Out What’s Happening
-
Check your College voice mail from campus or home.
In the event of snow closings, delays or other emergencies, a special broadcast message will be posted on the College Voice Mail System. Your Albright voice mail box must be activated to receive these messages!
- From your campus phone, call Albright voice mail at x7898 to check for messages.
- From off-campus, dial the Albright voice mail system at 610-921-7898. Press * (star) and enter your ID (your extension number) followed by # and your password and listen to the broadcast message.
- Accelerated Degree Program (ADP) locations, call the ADP Office at 1-888-253-8851 for continuously updated information about closings in the eight ADP locations.
2. Call the Albright Hot Line: x7800 or 610-921-7800
School closing and emergency information is posted on the Hot Line and updated as necessary. Because of volume of calls, please be patient if you cannot get through immediately.
3. Check the Albright web site: www.albright.edu
4. Call the Albright Switchboard: 610-921-2381
To avoid overloading the switchboard and/or Department of Public Safety when the switchboard is closed, please use your voice mail or the Hot Line first.
Weather announcements are also called into local radio and TV stations. Please do not rely on this as your first source of information. From the time the media are notified and the announcement is played may be 30 minutes or more – and media do not always get the information right!
